5. The Movies Sucked
Even if you are a Twilight fan through and through, you have to admit that the movies paled in comparison to the books. The films were corny and lame, and the actors were poorly chosen. We’d rather our children remember Twilight as it was on paper, not on the big screen.
4. Better Date Nights
If you hated the Twilight franchise, odds are your significant other dragged you to the theater on one too many date nights to watch the continuing horror that was Edward and Bella’s relationship. As you stared at the screen for two and a half hours, you began to hate life itself. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, my friends.
3. Vampires Can Be Tough Again
So Edward and the other Twilight vamps had plenty of fight scenes, but in everyday life, it became clear that the modern day vampire has become rather soft. Instead of preying on female victims without a second thought, the undead spend much more time falling in love in high school. Bram Stoker is rolling in his grave at the thought of moody, human-sympathizing, animal-feeding excuses for bloodsuckers.
2. Less Kristen Stewart
The less Twilight there is, the less we have to see Kristen Stewart’s face, hopefully. She’s sorta okay-looking, but her acting skills are severely lacking. The moody, painfully awkward, lip-biting ways of Bella Swan will soon fade into oblivion—fingers crossed.
1. Relationships Can Be Reevaluated
Throughout the duration of the Twilight series, we have been assaulted with plenty of incorrect images of how relationships should be. Right from the beginning, there’s no question that Edward shows some strong stalking tendencies towards Bella, yet plenty of girls cheer and applaud that kind of behavior as romantic. With the series done, it’s time to reevaluate our stance on those issues.
