DC Comics has announced that Justice League of America #1, due out in February, will have 52 different variant covers—one for each of the 50 states, as well as Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.
I’m pretty sure I haven’t discussed the new JLA with you guys, so I haven’t commented on the team’s exceedingly bizarre roster. Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Sim Baz Green Lantern, Star Girl, Vibe, Katana, Catwoman and Steve Trevor (that's who the dude with the body armor, is, I think)? That’s such a bizarre assortment that I’m actually genuinely interested in reading about them, although David Finch’s art certainly doesn’t hurt.
Of the group, the only one that really strikes me as off is Catwoman, but I’m sure plenty of you guys can give me reasons why a cat-themed thief with a heart of gold might join an elite team of superheroes to save the world…or how she would be useful to said team.
